We reach Munshi Dam and there are thousands of people over there so we decided to trek our way through the waters up the to the source of the waterfall and believe you me it was an enchanting experience.we are soaked in rain and feeling cold and slipping our way on the hill when we fianaally spot a chai wala and yes our life is made.

We have fun and finally reach Shahani Lodge, I am in room number 222 with Laga Laga laghate and battu and gaurav, other members of the dudez wing jyoti, anubhav shreyas and menon are in room number 227, we are tired an d feeling sleepy, we get up and our called for our first activity at 1800 hrs and we find that our teachers are already there and so we start.

LET US ALL PRAY FOR THE VICTIMS

I was in hostel when i heard of the blast and was shocked my immidiate reaction was to first inquire where my dad was because he was in mumbai the same day and was coming to meet me, i was standing on the gate of my hostel and was waiting for my dad to come, he had called up and told that he would reach in 15 minutes, but it had already been 30 minutes i was worried and the networks were as usual down be it any cellular service provider even mtnl phones were down there was panic everywhere, i was recieving calls from home in Delhi and from pune but only sms wwas being sent no calls, and then i see my dad coming in the car and he had no idea about the blasts, well we had dinner together and then he had to go back and i was back in my hostel preparing for the foundation exams. but read on

Yes the day was 7/11/2006 the fatefull tuesday evening when mumbai was rocked with the 7 blasts, yes people welcome to the BLAST CAPITAL OF OUR COUNTRY, why can't these people leave us alone, humne kya bigada hai inka, hats of to MUMBAI ki JUNTA, man these people are great they know how to look in the face of adversity, whole of our nations hearts go out to the victims who suffered due to these blasts.

It required courage to travel through the same trains the next day and the people of Mumbai dissappointed none it was a good reply.

There was a two minute silence observed in the memory of all the victims who suffered and INDIA was one again, SAARE JAHAN SE ACHA HINDUSTAN HUMARA,

A news item from REDIFF

A day after a series of bomb blasts rocked the city, Mumbai is back to normal. Trains on the Central line, Western line, Harbour line were on time. People are all set to go to office and resumed work as if nothing happened.

The Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, who visited the Mumbai blast sites and some hospitals, said that the Mumbai police is investigating Tuesday’s attacks but have found no clues so far. He also said that 183 persons lost their lives in these blasts and 714 were injured.
Out of 183 dead, 123 have already been identified and 72 have been handed over to their relatives for conducting last rites, he said.

“The railway ministry has decided to give Rs 5 lakh to the families of the victims and a suitable job to one person in the family. All the treatment expenses would be met by the railway ministry even in cases of private hospitals. Most of the injured will also be compensated. The state government has also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh each to the family of the victim,” he said.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will address the nation at 8 pm in the wake of serial blasts set off by terrorists in Mumbai on Tuesday. He is also likely to visit Mumbai later this week, the sources said.

RAINS @ SPJIMR @ MUMBAI - IT POURED AGAIN

YES IT HAPPENED AGAIN AND WE WERE IN THE EYE OF THE STORM,
HAVE A LOOK

RESULT IS OUT ; CALLS FOR TREATS

My Final year results are, and guess what i scored 951 marks out, i am all india rank three, and all india rank two in my course in all the three years, well when my flatmates came to know about this there calls for a big treat, i was already looking at the depression the treat would make in my economic situation.

Well it was decided that we would go to pizza hhut in lokhandwala, and there were 14 of us and the mumbai roads were as usual clogged with water due to heavy rainfall over the past two days and water was knee height, yes and i forgot to mention that the food in the mess is excellant and economical, otherwise there is Vrindavan and Guptaji near by who provide good food, and yes we continued our sojourn to pizza hut in lokhandwala and yes there was confussion as half the people reached some place else and half of them reached some place else. But finally we all reahed pizza hut and had a gala time over there, there was a cake which my friends had brought for me and there were congratulations and accolades being given.

Also during the past week i watched the most interesting movie of my life, i had the opportunity of watching Kubrick 2001: The Space Odyssey Explained,

I would soon be posting photographs of the event and photographs of Mumbai reeling under the Monsoon Rains.

ANY WEDDINGS IN MUMBAI AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR, GROOM WOULD START ON TIME BUT WOULD REACH AT THE VENUE THE NEXT DAY.

TOTALLY AT SEA

The studies have started and i am totally at sea with what is happening, understanding economics is highly inelastic, the supply is in excess and the demand is not there at all, just joking our teachers here our excellant and now i know why SPJIMR is one of the best B- Schools in in India, stupid its because of its Teachers, they are the best man.

We have had two quizes in economics and my scores have not been as good as they should have been, but it will take time for me to adjust to the conditions and the subjects which are taught over here, so for me its bye bye to TAJ man, i would join the company some other day but i would for sure join the TATAS, they are icons man and joining a TATA entreprise would be a honour.

Dad left on 21st evening and i really felt alone, here i was alone in amchi mumbai on my own, with no one close to talk to, it really felt bad but slowly i will get used to the way of life here and will go through the motions as of now.

AFTER ALL I AM NOW IN THE FINANCIAL CAPITAL OF THE COUNTRY: AMCHI MUMBAI

Yes you donot know when it will rain here, the weather is highly unpredictible, so carry an umbrella whenever you come to mumbai and yes the roads get water logged even if you wash your clothes.

AND MY RESULT IS EXPECTED TO COME OUT SOON SO KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED.

MY FIRST DAY

DATE : 20th JUNE
DAY : TUESDAY
TIME : 09:00 Hours

I was ready and raring to go and not to mention excited, there i was in DOME-3 for registration and it was done, we were given a bag full of books which i thought would be enough for us to alst through out the year, but then came the shock these were the books for only the foundation course we were ready to slog hard. The bag would have weighed a ton and we were given a glimpse of things to come.

Then there was the pre foundation exam, no time to study so just trying my luck and guess what it did work.

Got through the pre foundation exam and was totally exhausted by the end of the day.

Went to dads room and had dinner there, and My brother staying in Pune was there to have dinner with us.

But the deadline to come back to the Hostel was 23:00 Hours and i did not want to late the first day.So i left my dinner in between and was headed back to the hostel.

On my day one I met alot people who were to become good friends over the next two years and form a strong bond of friendship.

And then the flight landed at the Chatrapathi International Airport, and I was on my way to the place where i was to spend the next two years of my life, I was off to Bhavan's Campus, SPJIMR.The taxi wallah on his way to the campus very really banged the car into a an Autorickshaw, but God Saved us.

I went to the Hostel and my Roomie to be Anubhav was already there and unpacked, the only solace was that through all this time my Dad was there with me to support me.

Well finally the luggage was opened and set up and i realized that the room was really very small and we were given only half an Almirah.

Well after a little time i went back to dads room had dinner and was back to my room for the first time to sleep, well that was what i thought would be but some other people had some other ideas......................... it was the H

LIFE AFTER THREE YEARS AT COLLEGE & BEFORE GOING TO SPJIMR

I am back from Vaishno Devi, It is really great, when you start your trek it seems as if u won't be able to make it, but MATARANI shakti deti hai and the mere thought of standing in the Durbar makes u go up it makes u strive harder.

The trek is a cool 14 km long and the views are breathtaking, and now u find Cafe Coffee Day and Haldirams, and Nescafe all the way through the trek. There are electric auto vehicles available to take the people to the Bhavan from half way through, but they are meant only for people who are above 40 years of age or are medically unfit to trek.

Ek baar upar pahunch kar, mata ke darshan karke saari thakavat dur ho jati hai, it’s really enlightening to go there. On my way back I went to Mansa Devi and spent a night at my Nanajis place in Panchkula, I managed to watch Da Vinci Code, and it’s a really faithful to the book written by Dan Brown so all those people who enjoyed the book would love the Movie.

The Supreme Court has intervened and The Striking Doctors are back on there jobs, Great Work guys, you all deserve pat on the back, and Kudos to Supreme Court, it underlines the importance of our judicial system

India did a bad job in West Indies, and it did hurt all of us.

Yes I finally managed to open my pre foundation material and it was “Shock and Awe”, I really don’t know what to do, so class please help.

And yes I finally read Snapshots from Hell, it’s an incredible book, great work Peter Robinson, and I am a lot like the poets in Robinson’s class.

My results are expected to be out on 24th June, oh yes I will be in Mumbai then, and this time results are available on bet.

www.indiaresults.com

So crossing my fingers, till then

Let the Force Be With You

Yes another thing I got the classic star wars DVD’s trilogy I for long cherished.

20 Days before I Leave Delhi and Head for Mumbai.

My Exams were good
(exams are always good only the result is bad....LOL)

Here are my exam details:

First was Advanced Food Production, it was good but lengthy,
i made a blunder wrote about portugeese breakfast items in
Italian lunch menu, rest was good, next was advanced food and
beverage service(my favourite subject) the questions varried
from planning a barto marketing a restaurant to listing some
cocktail recipes.Front Office paper was the fatta maro paper
and accommodation operations was a sweet heart and Facility
planning was a nightmare, i had to ask the invigilator if he
had given me tha correct paper............lol.

All others were good.

Now i am waiting for the foundation course material to
arrive from SPJIMR so that i can start scratching my
head again, till then its party time and time to prepare
journals before the practicals.

My practicals are from 9th to 17th may.

Till then adios, i will keep you all posted for any
further developments.

AND PLZ PRAY FOR MR. PRAMOD MAHAJAN,
NOT COZ U SUPPORT BJP OR ANY OTHER PARTY
BUT AS A HUMAN WUD DO FOR ANOTHER HUMAN.
